WE WILL DEPEND ON THIS PERSON TO
Perform vehicle repairs within regular scope of work (excluding tasks such as steering rack, fuel tank, engine teardown)
Diagnose and assess circumstance and situation, depending on scope of work, either perform repair or sublet repair to partner shops
Diagnose and repair vehicles to ensure customer needs are met
Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
Encourage customers to schedule recommended work with fact-based selling and automotive expertise
Be part of a team that cares about customers and their cars
Work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively
Performs other duties as requested by manager
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
YOU SHOULD HAVE
Minimum of 3-6 years of recent professional automotive repair experience
Minimum four ASE or OEM certifications, DOT, 609 or equivalent
Knowledge in working and using repair shop software (All Data, Mitchell 1, etc.)
Valid driver's license (clean background)
Pass a pre-employment drug screen
A desire to provide an extraordinary customer experience
Comfortable working in varying environments
Speaking and writing in English is required, Spanish is a plus
High school diploma or the equivalent
DOT Prerequisites: Employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of all prerequisites required by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) / Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including a physical and medical certification.
